Be prepared for new sounds hitting the airwaves, with The New Congress majorly contributing to bringing the world back to real music by real musicians. TNC's sophomore album, "Anguish Love & Romance," highlights 14 innovative songs and features two international hip-hop superstars, Twista and Talib Kweli.  The album is already being well received by major radio and club DJ's across the globe, and the first single is topping the charts nation-wide on college radio!  The New Congress has toured coast to coast, including major performances in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles.  TNC has also supported many national acts, including: New Boyz, Dwele, Mint Condition, Faith Evans, Pharcyde, Boyz II Men, and more. The New Congress has several awards under their belt; 2008 City Pages “Best R&B Artist” and 2006 Minnesota Music Awards for Best R&B Group/Artist and Best R&B album.  The same CD, “Everybody Gets Up”, earned the group two Los Angeles Music Awards and a performance at the ceremony in Hollywood.  With this new album The New Congress pushes their experimental nature to the max with a perfect blend of hip hop, jazz, rock, and soul, coined as “urban pop.” In order to fully grasp what The New Congress is all about and what they bring to the table you must experience a live show, which are packed with fans of all age, race, and creed.
